DECEMBER

Last show of 2011...."Ziva", SnoCreek's UnderCover Lover goes WB for 2 pts and "Hunter", Ch. SnoCreek's On Thin Ice goes Select Dog!!

NOVEMBER

Vito is now CH.SnoCreek's Offer U Can't Refuse!!!  Vito finished his championship in 5 shows with 4 majors, a very impressive showing !!  He is owned & loved by Laura & Vince Capuano.

started out as a quite month but soon picked up speed.....Hayden finally delivered her 2 pups on the 18th, a boy & girl, mom and kids doing well!!                      

Our very own Gibbs went to his new home in Canada with his new mom Amy, they were made for each other and hit it off from the moment they met!!  Im sure he is spoiled already!!

OCTOBER

PUPPIES!!!

While I was away at the National Ruffian gave birth during the freak snow storm and blackout to 5 pups, 3 boys & 2 girls, all doing very well!  Kudos to my husband Jim and Nurse Lorraine for this wonderful delivery while having no water, heat or power!!!

Alaskan Malamute National 2011

We traveled to MI this month for the National, where Hunter, Flynn and Ziva represented SnoCreek quite well! Hunter, Ch SnoCreek's On Thin Ice made it thru to the final cut at the Regional under Breeder Judge Robin Hug. Flynn, BISS GCh. SnoCreek LongWinter's Legacy made it thru 2 cuts as he lost most of his coat in the car on the way!!  And Zive actually behaved herself!!  Hunter then made the first cut under Breeder Judge Nancy Russell, and Ziva went 5th in a bred-by class of 16.....we are very proud of the kids!!!!

WE ARE EXPECTING!!!!  We are pleased to announce the expectant litter of "Bubba", Ch. Kalamals Spirit of the Buffolo and "Ruffian", SnoCreek White Mountain Ruffian at the end of Oct.  pics will be posted when the pups arrive!

SEPTEMBER

Flynn goes BOB at the PA. shows over the weekend!! and takes a cut in group both days......

What a great way to start the month......"Flynn", BISS GCH. SnoCreek LongWinter's Legacy, takes a Group 4 and Group 2 up at the Maine Cluster Shows.  He also made the cut in the group on the last day of showing.         We are also pleased to announce the breeding between "Ruffian", SnoCreek White Mountain Ruffian, and "Bubba", Ch. Kalamals Spirit of the Buffolo, hopefully producing a very nice litter at the end of October.

JULY & AUGUST

A very busy summer here!  Flynn has taken a few BOB wins showing from Ohio to NY as his coat is coming in beautifully!   We are also pleased to announce the breeding between Flynn & Sugar, Kalamals Sugar & Spice, owned by Julie Kalamaja at Kalamals Kennel, they make a lovely couple!!

Our planned breedings are coming up, Ruffian II will be bred to Bubba, Ch. Kalamals Spirit of the Buffalo VERY soon, and Flynn will be bred to Hayden in a few weeks.....

JUNE

McGee, CH.SnoCreek's Fire When Ready, qualifies for the Eukanuba Show (2011-2012) in the BRED-BY Class!!

SnoCreek's UnderCover Lover, ZIVA, goes WB/BW & BOS, over the specials bitch, for her wins at the Hudson Valley cluster in June!!

Flynn, BISS GCH. SnoCreek LongWinter's Legacy, is ranked at  #7 in the country according to the Canine Chronicle for June 2100!!!

MAY

More great news as we end this month......"FLYNN" earns his GRAND CHAMPIONSHIP!!      "MCGEE" becomes a new CHAMPION!!   "HUNTER" gets and Excellent OFA hip score!! and ZIVA goes Reserve WB to a major at the NJ shows..... whew!!

What a wonderful way to start the month, Great weather!!!! We had a great first May weekend with "Ziva", SnoCreek's UnderCover Lover going Reserve WB and "Flynn", BISS Ch.SnoCreek LongWinter's Legacy taking a BOS on Sat. and on Mother's Day we had more great weather plus "McGee", SnoCreek's Fire When Ready going WD/BOW and "Flynn" taking BOB!!

APRIL

A busy month so far..."Via", SnoCreek N Kamelot's Venti Via goes BOB from the classes up in Mass. and then places in her class at the Specialty shows in Harrisburg, PA.

"Flynn" is now BISS Ch. SnoCreek LongWinter's Legacy...taking the BOB win at the Harrisburg Specialty in PA. last weekend. He also took Select Dog at the AMCA Specialty the day before......So beside the flood this was a very exciting weekend!!

MARCH

Miss Via, SnoCreek N Kamelot's Venti Via goes out for a weekend of showing after taking a year off to grow up and goes Winner's Bitch, Best of Winner's and Best of Opposite on Sat. and Winner's Bitch & Best of Opposite on Sun. for her first points.  She also got injured along the way by hitting the door in the air lock which took a chunk out of her face right under her eye....but she is a trooper!!

FEBRUARY

HAYDEN & RUFFIAN II both score EXCELLENT on their OFA Hip X-Rays!!

HAYDEN, SnoCreek's Gossip Girl wins a 4 pt. Major going Winner's Bitch at the Rockland County show in NY.

NOVEMBER

"Frankie", SnoCreek's Winds of Fortune, gets 2 Excellents, Jr. CAC & BOS Jr. in Poland.  Frankie is owned by Agata Kiam.

WooHoo...."Vito", SnoCreek's Offer U Can't Refuse , does it again and goes WD & BW for another major!!!

"Vito", SnoCreek's Offer U Can't Refuse, goes WD & BW at Springfield, MA for his 2nd major at his 2nd show!! "Ziva", SnoCreek's UnderCover Lover, Vito & McGee's  sister goes Reserve WB to a major at her 2nd show also...

OCTOBER

WOO HOO...."McGee", SnoCreek's Fire When Ready goes WINNERS DOG from the Bred-By Class at the Regional Specialty in Denver, CO. for a 5 pt. major under Ms. Jean Fournier.  Ms. Fournier also graced "Flynn", Ch. SnoCreek LongWinter's Legacy with an Award Of Merit.  "McGee" also took  a 3rd place ribbon from the bred-by class at the National Specialty under judge Shilon Bedford. Pictures will be up on their pages as soon as I get them!

Meanwhile "Hunter", Ch. SnoCreek's On Thin Ice,  made the cut at the Paalisades Specialty in NJ under judge Illona Chu.

SEPTEMBER

What a great month at SNOCREEK......on 9-10 "McGee", SnoCreek's Fire When Ready, goes WD/BW at Tuxedo KC show. The next day at Somerset KC he also goes WD/BW for another point.

On 9-24 "Hunter", Ch. SnoCreek's On Thin Ice, goes BOB after being out of the ring for 7 months.

On 9-25 at the OxRidge Supported entry for malamutes "McGee" goes WD/BW/Best Bred-By Exhibiter and Bred-by Exhibiter Group 4.  That same day "Flynn", Ch. SnoCreek LongWinter's Legacy goes BOB and GROUP 1!!!!

AUGUST

"McGee", SnoCreek's Fire When Ready goes WD, BOW for 2 pts and then takes s a Bred-by  Working Group 3!! at the Owego show on Friday.

JULY

"McGee", SnoCreek's Fire When Ready goes into the ring for the first time and takes his first points from the Bred-By class by going Winner's Dog!!!

"Hayden", SnoCreek's Gossip Girl goes Winners bitch and Best of Winners for another point also!!  WooWoo...

June

Shawangunk K.C., NY..."Hayden", SnoCreek's Gossip Girl goes WB, BW and BOS  for 2 pts.

May

Long Island show May 22....."Flynn", Ch.SnoCreek LongWinters Legacy goes BOB, his sister "Ruffian", SnoCreek White Mountain Ruffian goes WB, BOW & BOS and "Frankie", SnoCreek Winds of Fortune goes Reserve WD and Best Puppy!!

April

We had  a special birth this month.....our first grandson, Jace Daniel Martin, born on the 24th at 8.3 lbs

and due to the fact that most all the dogs have blown coat for the spring we have no show news!!!

March

Conneticut River Working Group weekend....."Flynn", Ch. SnoCreeks LongWinters Legacy takes AOM on Sat.  "Via", SnoCreek N Kamelots Venti Via takes a second place both days in sweeps and regular classes her first weekend out!!  "Callie", BOSS Ch. MoonSong's Synrgy of SnoCreek goes BOS Veteran on Sat. at the age of 12.

Monticello K.C. weekend.....WalnutRidge SnoCreek Semper Fi, GIBBS, goes Reserve Winners Dog (to a major) on Sat. and Winners Dog & Best of Winners on Sunday!!
